Step-by-step

Built for the Perfect Fit

At ValorWearUSA, we want to make sure your dog's collar fits perfectly. When measuring, use a tailor's tape and take the measurement where you want the collar to sit. If your dog wears multiple collars, have them wear them all when measuring.

Remember that our collar is 1 3/4 inches tall/wide — a proper measurement will ensure your dog is comfortable and the collar fits securely.

  1. 01

    Use a Tailor's Tape

A flexible cloth tape gives the most accurate reading around your dog's neck.

  2. 02

Measure Where the Collar Will Sit

Find the exact spot on the neck where the collar should rest — not the top of the skull, not the shoulders.

  3. 03

    Account for Layered Collars

If your dog wears multiple collars, have them wear all of them when you measure.

  4. 04

    Note the Collar Width

Our collar is 1 3/4" wide. Take that into account when sizing.

Where to Measure

Measure From Here. Not Here.

Handlers should measure their dogs so collars aren't constrictive. Use the guide below to pick the right spot.
